“I have never written a review for anything before, however, this apartment and our vacation was so amazing I felt I had to! I wish we could live there year around. My husband and I got to spend quality time with our grown sons and daughters-in-law in a family environment versus staying in our own rooms in a hotel somewhere. Renso, our concierge was absolutely amazing. He made our dream vacation come true. We were able to do everything we wanted with Renso's help. I just can't explain how awesome it was to just tell him what we wanted to do and he took care of all the details. The 10-In-One Adventure is a must see and do!! I also loved Manuel Antonio Park and Tortuga Island. Be sure to stop off for a few groceries on the way to the apartment. The resort is beautiful and having access to the golf cart made it very easy for us to get to the pool, beach and restaurants. The only downside that I can think of is that it isn't very close to any of the activities that we chose to do. Even that wasn't bad though because Renso took care of all the travel arrangements. I give it 10 stars!!! Thanks so much Elise and Renso for the vacation of a lifetime!

“When you're traveling to Costa Rica, it's a must to use Costa Rica Dream Makers. We just got back from an 8 day trip. We have been to the country on two other occasions and used other services. Dream Makers is on another level all together!

They were efficient, bilingual, and reasonably priced. Dream Makers booked a number of activities for us including, ATV's, Zip lining and Jet Ski's. Their drivers were courteous, on time and informative.

We also used Dreammakers for our transportation to and from the airport. When Dream Makers say your driver will arrive at the airport in an air conditioned van with drinks and speak English, its true! If you've been to Costa before, you know this is not a given.

I specifically recommend you call Stephanie with Dream Makers.  She spent so much time with me on the phone before our trip making suggestions for my kids and patiently explaining all the various activities and options. She was specific with how far certain activities were from our hotel and why we may or may not want to participate.  She was candid with us if something was not a good fit for our family.  She wasn't just sell, sell sell!  In going to Costa Rica before and dealing with other services, they don't always tell you how far a particular activity is and you end up spending more time in the van than doing the actual activity.

Before our trip she sent a guide with all the services they offer (about 40). We booked and confirmed everything with her before we left Texas.  She's the best!

When we go back next summer, we count on Stephanie and Dream Makers to take care of our family.

We cannot find words enough to describe our appreciation to you for the time you gave us from the very beginning when I discovered Bahia Encantada on the internet. Your direction to me and your information to me about Bahia Encantada led us to stay there, and are we ever so very glad and thankful. We love that place. We found it so comfortable, so convenient to everything, and so friendly, and had everything we needed or even wanted. Every unit was perfect for us. From the beginning you all gave us attention in every detail. From the snag with the fog delaying our arrival, to your kindness in helping the 2 young men that did arrive on time. Getting them settled into their places and going over and beyond the usual practice of just check-in and leave. You stayed with them to assure everything was met, and then had your driver come pick up the rest of us later that evening. How much that meant to each and every one of us.

When we arrived at Bahia Encantada, there you were, waiting. That was impressive, to think that late at night you would be out for us, and taking us to our units showing the places. On top of everything else, you had food for us and wine. We cannot express enough our gratitude for your kind generosity with this effort you put out with food and wine and beer. You certainly took a step beyond the usual greeting, and showed such warmness and kind hospitality. It did NOT go unnoticed by any in our group. Everyone was so appreciatvie to each of you.

We all loved Jaco Beach. It is such a precious and priceless place. We felt at home there, and loved everything Jaco had to offer. The boys are still talking, as they want, very much, to come back. So do all of us. Jaco had everything we wanted and more. Since that was our very first time in Costa Rica, none of us knew what to expect, but now we certainly do know how warm, friendly and outstanding this part of the world is....a true gem of a place.

Once again, our deepest thanks and utmost appreciation for making our stay so comfortable, warm, and enjoyable. You certainly deserve so much credit for making yourselves, always, available to us for anything, for being there for us, and for the care and consideration you gave us. We feel it speaks highly about all of you, about just who you are, and what exactly the good qualities you all possess. Our travels to other parts of the world have NOT seen anything like this. It not only gives us such good and positive feelings about you, but these good feelings carry over to Costa Rica and Jaco also. We shall certainly not forget any of you, and will only spread the word back home about our reception and our stay. Thank you, again. “ First off, it is not a matter of "if" I will go back - it is only a matter of "when" I will return to Jaco. The town was charming and thanks to STELLAR recommendations by the property manager, we had a marvelous time. Secondly, "when" I go back to Jaco, the only moment I will spend thinking about where to stay is "if" this place is not available! It was immaculate! Nicer than I expected and more tastefully appointed than I expected...and we expect a lot!

We are traveling event photographers. We are regularly hosted at the finest properties in the world - from swanky boutique hotels to historic gems with white gloves to mega-glam hot spots. You have to work hard to exceed our expectations. That being said, our experience at Monte Rey was top drawer! The published rate was nothing close to the level of accommodations (and guidance) we received - I feel like we won the online booking lottery!!

Larry makes himself available as a restaurant critic, a tour guide, a local historian, and an all-around great host. JUST ASK. Ten minutes with him and you feel as if you are staying in his home - not his rental property. He is genuinely interested in your stay being a positive one.

The rooms are big. The furniture is nice. Security is spot-on. Check out the pictures. Read the other reviews. This place is really nice. Surf is close. There is a boutique surf board maker less than half a block away and they rent boards for as little as $8 a day.
